Late Start

Got a late start to the week. Had a long day in Philly yesterday being poked, prodded, magnetized, and subjected to a barrage of questions pertaining to my medical history. The outcome was a tentatively scheduled surgery and a new set of MRI films to add to my collection. Looks like I'll be undergoing a procedure the first week of December to correct some strains and tears in my lower abdomen.

Ran 4.3 miles around Adams Morgan on Saturday, where I got to appreciate the foliage along Woodley Place as it cuts through a tunnel of orange and yellow. This and Sufjan Stevens made up for some creakiness in the legs and feet. It was warm and muggy, so much so that I didn't mind the moderate headwind, and actually was glad for it.

Same distance today, but different route. Capital Crescent again in the afternoon. Feeling last night's hoagie and ice cream in a bad way but otherwise enjoyed the comfortable temps and scents of fallen leaves.

Wishing this could become a daily thing again but hesitant given the current woes. Best I can do is continue to keep things moderate and have patience.
